About Now Or Never
The band began in November of 2004 when singer/songwriter/pianist Miles Bosworth and
drummer Christie Frontera formed the band. Christie answered a flyer, requesting players for
a side project. Miles and Christie jammed together once or twice and decided that forming
their own band would be better, so Miles brought Justin DeCarlo into the band to play guitar.
Miles and Justin met through a mutual friend at a benefit a few months earlier. Around this time,
the name NOW OR NEVER was selected from a sheet of name ideas. Shortly thereafter, Christie
brought the bassist, Randy Williams in to the band from a restaurant they worked at together.
Later, Randy brought a classmate of his named Josh Hancock into the band as a second guitarist.
Finally, NOW OR NEVER played their first show at the Mohawk Place in Buffalo for the
Emergenza Festival. Shortly after this show, Justin brought Dave Dulanski into the band as
the new lead guitarist. After advancing to the second round of the Emergenza Festival that
year, NOW OR NEVER began booking shows at several venues around the area. Some of them
included Hilbert College, UB, The Showplace Theatre, and Broadway Joe’s. As the summer
went on, Josh and Christie decided to pursue other interests and eventually left the band.
In the early Fall of 2005, NOW OR NEVER was recording and without a drummer until Justin tried
the drums. Apparently, Justin could play the drums too, so the band regrouped as a 4-piece and
has been recording and playing out ever since. Some of the more recent shows include Seven Bar
& Café and Club Evolution.
