Just because your voice reaches halfway around the world doesn't mean you are wiser than when it reached only to the end of the bar.

About Us

Hilbert College established the Communication Studies program in 2004 with a special mission: to combine a rigorous liberal arts education with a professional education that prepared each student for the work world. All students learn a broad range of skills, including media production, rhetoric, theory, law, ethics, history, and organization of the industry through a comprehensive core of classes, then can pursue tracks in Integrated Marketing, Interpersonal and Organizational Skills, Media Writing, and Media Arts. All students have access to state-of-the-art media technology through the Center for Creative Media, and work closely with a faculty of professionally experienced professors. Students are encouraged also to pursue alternative methods of education, including Internships and difficult but rewarding Independent Studies.

The Campus Center currently houses both the Center for Creative Media and the Department of Communication Studies.
